Sikafloor®-962 Tufseal

(former Davco® Tufseal)

CLEAR PU SEALER

Sikafloor®-962 Tufseal is a highly durable, non-yellowing clear polyurethane sealer. Sikafloor®-962 Tufseal is water-based, non toxic with low VOC, and safe to use.

  • Prevent migration of water stains, dirt, oil and grease.
  • Non-yellowing when exposed to sunlight.
  • Excellent water repelling characteristic.
  • Protect substrate against deterioration, weathering and carbonation.
  • Unaffected by most alkali, mild acid, oil, grease, detergent and some mild solvent.

Usage

  • A protective sealer for a wide range of surfaces such as unglazed quarry tiles, slates, pavers and roof tiles.
  • A sealer to dustproof concrete, precast concrete, masonry.
  • A water repellent sealer to protect and enhance the durability of brick walls.
  • Seals porous surfaces to prevent fungus and algae growth, and water seepage, e.g. tile grout joints.

Storage Conditions

Store properly in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions. Keep away from direct sunlight and frost.

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Ensure that the surface is clean, dry and free from stains, dirt, grease, fungus/algae and any loose matter.

New concrete surface should have a minimum of 7 days curing period before applying Sikafloor®-962 Tufseal.

APPLICATION

Apply Sikafloor®-962 Tufseal in corner of sample substrate to check for compatibility and change in tonality.

No mixing is required, just stir the material before use to prevent settlement due to storage and transportation.

Apply Sikafloor®-962 Tufseal directly from the can a minimum of 2 coats using brush, roller or spray.

Allow the sealer to dry before opening to foot traffic, approximately in 2 hours, depending on ambient conditions.

Tack free time is approximately 30 minutes.
