CONCRETE SMOOTHENING AND INTERIOR FLOOR LEVELLING COMPOUND (UNDERLAYMENT)

SikaLevel®-102 SG is a sophisticated self levelling underlayment that has been specially formulated for easy, level and smooth installation of interior sub floor surfaces.

Usage

  • Ideal for trowelling or pump applications over large areas, allowing for floor covering installation after 24 hours.
  • Suitable for levelling and smoothing of internal subfloors of concrete, terrazzo, ceramic tiles etc.
  • Provides a flat substrate over which to install wood, vinyl, carpet or other floor covering materials.
  • Ideal for repairing damaged rained-on-subfloors, adjusting tolerances between floor slabs, smoothing over ceramic tiles prior to floor covering, rectifying camber problems on concrete, repairing old and damaged screeds etc.

Approx. 25 minutes @ 25°C

Setting Time

Setting time is dependent on temperature and the substrate conditions. During cooler weather a longer setting time would be expected. During warmer weather, a shorter setting time would be expected

Approx. 8 hours @ 25°C
Consumption

Consumption

For material consumption:- 1.5 kg of SikaLevel®-102 SG powder covers approximately 1m2 at 1mm thick.

Sikalastic®-500 Acrylic Primer AP covers approximately 8m² / ltr.
Application steps

SURFACE PREPARATION

Substrates must be firm, dry and free from oils, grease, wax, dust and other contaminants.
Concrete and sand/cement screeds may need to prime with Sikalastic®-500 Acrylic Primer AP.

MIXING

Put water in a clean mixing container. Add SikaLevel®-102 SG powder and stir thoroughly while adding the powder to produce a lump free smooth flowing mortar. Mechanical mixing of the mortar facilitates the smoothness of the mix. Mixed mortar should be used within 25 minutes of mixing.

Working time is extended at lower temperatures and reduced at higher temperatures.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Use clean water to clean tools and equipment before the product sets.
Hardened material has to be removed mechanically.
