PRE-MIXED WATERPROOF PLASTER

SikaWall®-165 WP Plaster is a high quality, premixed cementitious plaster that is specially blended to be use on wall surfaces. It provides effective integral waterproofing by forming a hydro-phobic layer within the plaster. It is easy to use and provides superior bonding to concrete substrate and brickwork surfaces.

Usage

SikaWall®-165 WP Plaster is an extremely versatile material. It is highly recommended for bedding, pointing brickwork and blockwork, backing and bedding for wall tiles. It also serves as an additional waterproofing protection for external wall surfaces.  
SikaWall®-165 WP Plaster can be used for all types of concrete substrate, lightweight autoclaved aerated blocks, brickwall and blockwall etc., whenever a waterproof plaster system is needed.

Storage Conditions

Store properly in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions. Keep away from direct sunlight and frost.

Application steps

SURFACE PREPARATION

Remove all dust, oil or traces of foreign materials. Dampen the dry concrete or plastered surface before application of SikaWall®-165 WP Plaster.

MIXING

Mix thoroughly using an electrical mixer or a paddle mixer for 3 to 5 minutes until the desired homogeneous mortar paste is achieved. Ensure the mix is free from lumps before use.

APPLICATION

SikaWall®-165 WP Plaster is applied using a steel trowel and will remain workable for approximately 60 minutes after mixing.

 

CURING TREATMENT

The plaster should be cured with water spray for the first few days especially in hot external conditons to prevent rapid moisture loss and for shrinkage control.
