PREMIUM QUALITY BONDING AGENT AND MORTAR ADDITIVE

SikaLatex®-1000 is a high performance, water-based, synthetic resin  emulsion which significantly improves the performance of renders, tile adhesives, screeds and many types of cementitious mortars.

Usage

  • Bonding bridge for plasters, renders, mortars, etc.
  • Key coat or spatterdash for plastering works
  • As bonding agent of the repair mortar system  
  • As additive to floor screeds, plasters, non-shrink grouts, etc.

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

The substrate must be clean, sound, dust-free and without any traces of oil, laitance, curing compound or paint.

Improved performance of concrete and mortar.

  • Use the SikaLatex®-1000 solution in place of water. For bonding and plaster, SikaLatex®-1000 is used in a 1:2 water solution.
