SikaTop®-1 S

CEMENT STRENGTHENER AND BONDING AGENT

SikaTop®-1 S is a cement strengthener and bonding agent to various substrates. It is a water and oil resistant emulsion which produces bonding coats and polymer modified cement mortars with high mechanical strengths coupled with good resistance to oil and water.

Usage

  • As a waterproofing thin set layer to bond tiles as well as tile to tile bonding
  • As a bonding agent for mortar, rendering and floor screeds
  • As a patching and repair mortar
  • As a bonding coat between concrete and render (wet on wet)
  • As a bonding agent for joining old and new concrete  
  • Abrasion resistant coverings in hydraulic structures, drainage channels, sewage plants, etc.
  • Pointing of brickwork
  • As an injection polymer and sealer
  • As a plasticiser to sand and cement mortars

Storage Conditions

Added to the mixing water within the range of 1 : 0 - 1 : 1.5 depending on application

 
Application steps

MIXING

Add to the mixing water prior to its addition to the dry mix aggregates and mix until the desired consistency is achieved.
