SikaGrout®-770 (G70)

HIGH STRENGTH NON SHRINK GROUT

SikaGrout®-770 (G70) is a premium grade high strength grout with low embodied carbon footprint and is approved by the Singapore
Eco-labelling authority as a sustainable building material.  SikaGrout®-770 (G70) is premixed in the factory to ensure consistently high product quality on-site. It is easy to use and needs only the addition of water on site to provide a non-shrink grout with high compressive strength.

Usage

Use SikaGrout®-770 (G70) in applications needing high compressive strength and where shrinkage is undesirable.  
Primary uses are for bedding, filling and grouting applications needing high strength, and non-shrink material. It can be used for bedding mortar in prefabricated building construction, repairs to precast concrete, bedding bearing plates, anchor bolt fixing and crane rail assembly.

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Clean off oil, dust, dirt, paint, curing compound and thoroughly damp the surface before application.

MIXING

For optimum result, a mechanical mixer should be used. Damp the grout mixer with water before mixing the batch of SikaGrout®-770 (G70).
Ensure the mixing pail is free of standing water.  Add the premeasured quantity of water. Slowly add SikaGrout®-770 (G70), mixing continuously for about five minutes until a homogeneous consistent grout is achieved.

 

APPLICATION

Floor And Vertical Patching / Repairs:
Compact SikaGrout®-770 (G70) into the repair area with rod and finish with a steel trowel. 

For horizontal grouting of prefabricated concrete units, apply the mixed grout along the joint areas ensuring good grout consistency and there is no sagging before joining the prefabricated units.

Curing:
Immediately after finishing, exposed area should be thoroughly cured with water spray, wet hessian or curing compound.
