Colour
Resin - part A : | Coloured, Liquid |
Hardener - part B : | Transparent. Liquid |
Available only in the following standard colours : RAL 7032, 7030, 1001, 6010 & 6011 (refer to standard colour chart).
Prior to selecting the colour for Sikafloor® 2530 W, sample trial is highly recommended.
Under direct UV exposure (sun, lamp, skylight, etc.) there may be some discolouration and colour deviation, this has no influence on the function and performance of the coating.

Application
Mixing Ratio
Part A : part B = 70 : 30 (by weight)
Ambient Air Temperature
+10 °C min. / +30 °C max.
Relative Air Humidity
80 % r.h. max., adequate fresh air ventilation must be provided to remove excess moisture during curing.
Dew Point
Beware of condensation!
The substrate and uncured floor must be at least 3 °C above dew point to reduce the risk of condensation or blooming on the floor finish.
Substrate Temperature
+10 °C min. / +30 °C max.
Substrate Moisture Content
< 6 % pbw moisture content.
Test method: Sika-Tramex meter or CM - measurement.
No rising moisture according to ASTM (Polyethylene-sheet).

+20 °C | 90 - 120 min |
+30 °C | 30 - 60 min |
Curing Time
Before applying Sikafloor®-2530 W LP on Sikafloor®-161 HC allow:
Substrate temperature | Minimum | Maximum |
+20 °C | ~12 h | ~48 h |
+30 °C | ~6 h | ~36 h |
Before applying Sikafloor®-2530 W LP on Sikafloor®-2530 W LP allow:
Substrate temperature | Minimum | Maximum |
+20 °C | ~15 h | ~5 d |
+30 °C | ~12 h | ~3 d |
Times are approximate and will be affected by changing ambient conditions particularly temperature and relative humidity.
When the relative air humidity is ≥ 80 % the waiting time should be increased by 24 hours.

Coating System | Product | Consumption |
Priming | Sikafloor®-161 HC | ~0.3 kg/m² |
Top coat | 2 - 3 x Sikafloor®-2530 W LP | 0.1 - 0.15 kg/m²/layer |
These figures are theoretical and does not include for any additional material required due to surface porosity, surface profile, variations in level and wastage etc.
MIXING
Prior to mixing stir part A mechanically. When all of part B has been added to part A, continuously mix for 2 minutes until a uniform mix has been achieved. To ensure thorough mixing, pour materials into another container and mix again to achieve a consistent mix. Over mixing must be avoided to minimize air entrainment.
Sikafloor®-2530 W LP must be mechanically mixed using an electric power stirrer (300 – 400 rpm) or other suitable equipment.
APPLICATION
Prior to application, confirm substrate moisture content, r.h. and dew point.
If > 6 % pbw moisture content, Sikafloor® EpoCem® may be applied as a T.M.B. (temporary moisture barrier) system.
Primer
Make sure that a continuous, pore free coat covers the substrate. If necessary, apply two priming coats. When used as a primer always apply by brush.
Coating
Sikafloor®-2530 W LP is spread evenly by means of a short pile roller.
A seamless finish can be achieved if a “wet” edge is maintained during application.
Sikafloor®-2530 W LP can also be applied by airless spray (spray pressure ~300 bar, nozzles with a diameter of 0.53 mm / 0.021 inch and a spray angle 60°)
Uneven application of the material and resulting differences in the coating layer thicknesses may cause differences in “gloss” of the surface.
CLEANING OF TOOLS
Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened / cured material can only be mechanically removed.
CLEANING
To maintain the appearance of the floor after application, Sikafloor®-2530 W LP must have all spillages removed immediately and must be regularly cleaned using rotary brush, mechanical scrubbers, scrubber dryer, high pressure washer, wash and vacuum techniques etc. using suitable detergents and waxes.
