Sikafloor®-2400 APCC

(former Davco® 783 Acrylic Polymer)

ACRYLIC POLYMER CEMENTITIOUS COATING FOR CARPARKS & INDUSTRIAL FLOORING

Sikafloor®-2400 APCC is a two component pre-packed high performance acrylic polymer modified cement based mortar with high abrasion, impact and skid resistances and is ideal for carparks and industrial floorings.

Usage

  • Resurfacing of old and worn concrete floors.
  • Patching and repairing of damaged concrete surfaces.
  • Topping for new concrete floors to increase the skid and wear resistance.
  • Suitable for interior and exterior application, e.g. warehouses, car parks & driveways, bus bays, concrete roads, docks, etc.
 
  • As a screed over to concrete roof gutters.Repair and re-surfacing to damaged concrete staircases.
  • As water, skid and wear resistance coating to suit open, enclosed and basement car park applications. It is effective as an ‘anti-screech’ coat to multi-storey car parks, driveway and ramp, especially to descending and ascending turn areas.
  • Coating to internal and external walkways for new and upgrading projects.
  • Protective screed for industrial floors in high wearing areas to architects’ specification.
  • As a repair patch over exposed concrete floor, slab and tile surfaces.

Storage Conditions

Store properly in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions. Keep away from direct sunlight and frost.

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Clean the surfaces and remove any dust, oil, grease or other contaminants.

Defective and unsound substrate has to be removed and repaired prior to application of Sikafloor®-2400 APCC.

Existing substrate expansion joint is to be continued through the new topping and any movement joint.

Smooth and compact surfaces must be roughened by mechanical means.

APPLICATION

Priming

Prime the substrate using a suitable Sika primer.
 

Application

Pour Sikafloor®-2400 APCC Part A (liquid) into a pail and slowly add Part B (dry mix), stirring with a low speed drill until a homogeneous lump-free mixture is obtained. Avoid entrapping air during mixing.

The consistency of the mixed mortar allows application of 3 - 5 mm in thickness for each layer. Apply Sikafloor®-2400 APCC onto moist surface with trowel or rubber tool.

For anti - skid surfaces, brooming to desired texture may be doned shortly after initial set.

CURING TREATMENT

Dry curing is essential to Sikafloor®-2400 APCC.
