SikaRoof® VersiTank®-840 Set

STORMWATER MODULES FOR ATTENUATION OR STORAGE IN LANDSCAPE FEATURES

SikaRoof® VersiTank®-840 Set is a high strength drainage or storage module manufactured from recycled polypropylene (PP), and constructed using 7 to 9 interlocking panels that form tank modules with 1 to 3 stabilisers respectively, and creates layers of 425 mm deep at-source stormwater attenuation or storage systems.
SikaRoof® VersiTank®-840 Set forms a void area between landscape features and the substrate, providing excellent drainage, storage, attenuation or conveyance.

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

For on structure application, clean and sound surface shall have at least a wood float finish. All holes, joints, and cracks and honeycombs in concrete or masonry surfaces shall be filled with an approved grout and allowed to cure. High spots in concrete or masonry surfaces shall be cut off or ground down to prevent damage/ puncture to the drainage module.
For on grade application, pit area shall be excavated to pre-determined dimensions, and the base shall be compacted using a mechanical compactor. A layer of coarse aggregate according to specifications shall be spread over the base and compacted using a mechanical compactor. A layer of coarse sand typically 50 mm, shall be spread over the aggregate and compacted using a mechanical compactor.

APPLICATION

For infiltration tanks, SikaRoof® VersiTank®-840 Set shall be assembled and installed wrapped in an approved geotextile without any holes except for pipe connections. Sand shall then be spread over and around the pit area before backfilling of a minimum of 200 mm of soil / planting media.

For storage tanks, SikaRoof® VersiTank®-840 Set shall be assembled and installed wrapped in an approved membrane for walls and base, and an approved geotextile for the top, without any holes except for pipe connections. Sand shall then be spread over and around the pit area before backfilling of a minimum of 200 mm of soil / planting media.
