Davco® T-Prime

Davco T-Prime is a water-based adhesion-promoting primer specially formulated to improve the adhesion of very low water absorption tiles such as porcelain tiles. Davco T-Prime is applied directly onto the back surfaces of tiles prior to the application of tile adhesive to significantly enhance the bond provided by Davco tile adhesives. This considerably reduces the possibility of tile shifting or popping tiles that may be caused by poor adhesion of low water absorbency of tiles.

  • Provide excellent adhesion between tile adhesives and the back of most types of tiles/stones especially those with low or no absorption.

Usage

Davco T-Prime is ideal for the preparation of smooth, dense and low water absorption substrates particularly in small and large formatted floor and wall porcelain tiles with extremely low water absorption rate.


Davco T-Prime controls absorbency and adhesive drying rates, stabilizes bases, increases water resistance in immersed applications and promotes adhesion to difficult substrates for long term durability.
